NYC BRONZER REVIEW! ♥

Review on NYC Bronzer ! 

Everyone knows, that I am the queen of cheap! Espically when it comes to Makeup. Of course, makeup from higher end stores or brands are more expensive, and better for your skin! However, since finding Elf, and NYC- I have to change my mind! 

NYC Bronzer is in my daily routine! I have naturally dark skin, but I like the look of bronzer whether its in the weather or summer! 

This bronzer, I found completly by accident! I was in our local Walmart, and noticed they had a AWESOME sale on NYC products, now I love NYC nailpolish and eyeshadow, so I thought I'd give this a try! 

The color wheel of tones that NYC provides creates the most natural looking tan I've seen in a long time! Alot of the time with bronzers, it is only one tone, which can create a flat dull look when applied. Some of those bronzers also add a bit of shimmer, to create a nice glow. NYC bronzer has the same technique. Between the mix of different tones and the light shimmer, creates a long lasting look!

Relaxing Day For Travels! 

Our Sundays are pretty relaxing! This weekend, for once has been exceptionally relaxing! :)

We decided on Sunday we were going to go out to a few parks in our area, and do some shopping of course! There will be a few Hauls going up soon, and Makeup Reviews we love soon!

Nail day♥

So I was super super excited! 

Steph and I decided to go out for the day, and theres a new Nail Salon in Belleville, so decided to go in. 

This is what I came out with!!! 

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! 

And  I was sooo impressed! Only cost me like $20! As much as I'd love to say I could recreate this, I know I couldnt get it as good as this! :) Like this post if youd get this done!:)

NYC Blush Review

ANOTHER BEAUTY TRICK! 

Again, while shopping in Walmart, I needed some new blush. My ELF blush was all used up, and needed some badly for a evening out! :) 

NYC is another cosmetic brand that I recommend highly! The price is perfect! For this blush, I paid $3.99 for at Walmart! Can't go wrong with this one! :) 

The thing I love best about this blush is the different tones in the palette! They blend so well together, espically for medium to dark skin tones. It doesn't have sparkles in it, which makes it great for everyday makeup!  

NYX PRIMER REVIEW

So I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of Primer. I usually stear clear from primer, since I do have a pretty good complexion as it is, and its just an extra cost. But when I went to Walmart with my cousin, steph she talked me into buying one. It was on sale, so didn't think it would be so bad. 

I picked up the White and Green primers, since I both have redness some days, and like using the fine lines. Anything that helps long lasting affects for your skin I will use. :) 

I can now say I LOVE NYX PRIMER!!!




I really cannot say enough great things about it! It defintely made my skin noticeable different when applying coverup after.  I use the white Photogenique Primer every day now. I can't say enough amazing things about it! This is one beauty secret that should be in EVERYONES everyday makeup routine!

This look is a Up-Close and personal look at the Ice Princess look we did a few weeks ago! We basically layered and layered bright vibrant color until it was a light frosty look with a hint of color coming through!  We will be doing more "Creative" costume looks soon! This was definitely a favorite of ours! )

I told you all I would be writting a Thank you note to Maurices, about my experience I had! Here is what happened, and what I sent to them! Everyone, please check out Maurices I have nothing bad to say about my experience, or the clothing I purchased!

At our local mall, (Quinte Mall) a Maurices was put in about a year ago. I had never been in the store, had no real experience with it. My fiancee and myself were walking around the mall, checking out stores, we never thought of going into Maurices because the clothing looked very expensive and for smaller sized women. To note, I am a "plus sized" 23 year old. So I thought, nope those clothes are to fancy, they will not make my size so did not bother going in.

We walked around the mall, and went into another retail store (Not Maurices), where I was told to leave because I was "to fat". I'm dead serious a sales associate at another store, said those exact words to me. I left the store, in tears. Walking passed Maurices, a sales associate was standing outside the store. She seen me crying and asked if she could help. I didn't realize at first she worked at Maurices, but she lead me into the store where we were making small talk. The lady, (unfortnetly I did not get her name), was the nicest women I had spoken to in a long time. I told her what happened in the previous store, and she was disgusted as well. She asked if I had ever been in Maurices, and I answered no, because I was to fat. The lady, almost broke into tears. She showed me around the whole store, working 110% for my size, my budget, etc. She helped me find the perfect sizes and made sure I was 110% satisfied. I walked out of Maurices with a whole new appreciation for this store. I had confidence again, and your sales associate did that for me. I cannot express my thank you enough! You have made my shopping experience memorable. I wish every girl who has self-esteem issues, confidence issues, etc would walk into Maurices. The service I got, goes so far beyond exceptional. I mean it from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

I cannot say enough about This Store! Amazing Styles fit for any size and any budget! 

My Experience at Maurices- AMAZING! Between the amazing customer service I received, and the styles, and the budget conscience pricing! You cannot go wrong! 

For My Beautiful Plus Sized Friends- PLEASE CHECK OUT MAURICES! The styles that are in this store, defintely bring out the beauty in Plus Size! Between other stores that sell plus sized fashion, you find the "style" aspect of clothing goes down. 

WHO MADE THE RULE- PLUS SIZE MEANS NO STYLE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Maurices defintely breaks that stereotype! The fabric of the clothing is top-rated by far! Some clothing I find you can pay $50 and up for a nice shirt, or dress but the fabric is so cheap it feels like it could fall apart any minute! Not at Maurices! 

I will be posting more and more about my experiences at Maurices! I will try and do some reviews of clothing that I purchase, so that maybe that can help you figure out your style, with friendly help! :)

Ice Princess Makeup

ICE PRINCESS MAKEUP

Not a Day Look Here! 

We created this beautiful look, using only ELF products! Can't complain at all! 
Found some amazing pictures of costume makeup that were beautiful! Then got thinking more and more about how we could add a twist to it. 

We have found so many looks for "Ice Princess:", that look way to intense, more "scary" then fun Disney idea. 

First, we of course moisterized our face. ( When doing costume makeup, you need to moisturize so that the makeup doesn't cause skin irration since usually it is "caked" on. 

We then mixed a Pearl Dust Color (ELF PALETTE) into foundation. The Foundation we use is Covergirl. I find cover girl, covers well and is good for your skin. Always check to see if foundation has any vitamins etc. Some could benefit more then others.  After you mix foundation and the pearl dust together into a solid mix, apply to face. (We had no problem applying, if you notice that the coverup is now cakey or feeling heavy- try adding either a little witch hazel, water or more foundation depending on what you have.

For Eye Brows- We Took, Green and Blue eyeshadow (from ELF Palette) and gradually added glitter to it as well. BE CAREFUL- When putting glitter near or around eyes make sure you add glitter in steps. Anyone who has ever gotten glitter in their eyes, will understand why we say, be careful! 

Lips- We did the same thing! We applied a thick - Bonnebell Lip Gloss. We chose Bonnebell, because the formula of the lip gloss is incredibly thick and glossy (perfect for a thick pout look). After we applied the gloss, we then added glitter to the lips. When applying glitter to lips, go in steps. We took a lipgloss brush, dipping into the glitter lid then applying to the lips. After waiting about 5 minutes, then apply a light layer of lip gloss again to set. Worked AMAZING!

So Much Fun! Stephanie (my cousin and twin) got together for more fun tutorials of makeup. Putting everything together, we realized how much we had! As you can see, there are different brands and products! 

As of course, ELF is by far my favorite makeup brand! Have nothing but positive things to say about all products (Will be doing reviews soon)! But in this set, we have ELF, Maybelline, CoverGirl, and Urban Decay!

Today, My mom and I went shopping and I am such a firm supporter of ELF Cosemetics! So Today when I seen these Amazing Sets- I knew I had to Get them!

Back Ground Of ELF COSMETICS: ( Stands for Eyes, Lips, Face), Amazing Brand! I have came across so many cosmetic companies who charge insane amounts of money for eyeshadow, eye liner etc! Myself, I do not have $20.00 for Makeup Pigments so I did some research online and found ELF. And let me tell you, ITS AMAZING!!!

Eyeshadows are amazing and they have a wonderful selection of colors and pigments! I find that the formula is amazing and that they are very very similar to Urban Decay and MAC. The amazing part though is how cheap it is!

ELF- mainly has 2 sections, you have the Pro Series and the (for lack of better words) regular series. Even the Pro Series is completly affordable! All of Those Items above, (except for Got2Be haha it slipped in), I think I only spent $25.00, and this will last me so long! I'm Absolutely In Love With ELF Costmetics! :)
